Founded in 1983 by Gerald & Shirley Larkey and Wally Gates. Gates was a retired United Airlines executive who for many years owned and operated a predecessor company Worldwide Interline Tours, Inc. founded in 1970. Gerald Larkey was engaged in airline sales, operations and marketing activities from 1951 until 1986. Larkey held executive positions with three major airlines. The two companies together would make Global Interline the second or third oldest interline agency in the industry.
Operates in conjunction with Travel Marketing Consultants, Inc. founded in 1978. Travel Marketing Consultants, Inc. is a fully accredited, bonded and approved ARC, IATA and CLIA travel agency.
Based in Barnesville, Georgia a suburb of Atlanta.
